Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store in North Carolina. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, run the register with speed and accuracy, and coach a team to provide outstanding customer service.

You’ll help hire, train, and lead staff, and step in as acting manager during off-hours. Open availability is required, with weekend, holiday, and second or third shift work anticipated.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends, holidays, and 2nd/3rd shifts.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Excellent English communication and basic math skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register with speed and accuracy and assist customers.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep shelves stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
