GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 4730 in Cape Carteret, NC. This full-time role supports the Store Manager and leads a high-energy team to deliver excellent customer service and store operations.

Open availability, weekends and holidays are required. The position offers weekly pay, a $1000 sign-on bonus after 6 months, 401(k), paid time off, health and other insurance, and opportunities for growth into store management.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance.
• Physical readiness for cleaning, trash, and outdoor pump areas.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Proficient in English and basic math.
• Willing to learn.
• Must have or be able to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers quickly and accurately.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store finances.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
