Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions and help ensure a friendly, safe shopping environment.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail management; you will supervise and train store associates and help maintain promotional displays while following company policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Move merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping including payroll, scheduling, cash deposits
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines; supervise and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions with customers and teammates
