The ideal candidate has retail experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment. This is a non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Retail experience, footwear/apparel preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead a team and meet goals.
• Self-starter with initiative for important tasks.
• Attention to detail and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume full store responsibility in the Store Manager's absence.
• Coordinate with Store Manager on action plans for departmental goals.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating store personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department duties are completed.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per the service manual.
