Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Manager for our Biloxi, MS store. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, manage inventory, and mentor staff to deliver outstanding customer service.

You’ll oversee merchandising, scheduling, and procedures while ensuring the store meets profitability targets and policy standards. Previous retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative and reliability.
• Team player with strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling assets and operations.
• Collaborate on action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Take on Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.
• Support recruiting, training and evaluating store personnel.
• Guide employees and assist customers across all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and expenses to aid profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department standards and priorities.
• Promote services and merchandise to enhance the customer experience.
• Uphold company policies and procedures across outlets.
