Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and supervise store associates to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.

The role involves opening/closing, payroll/scheduling, loss prevention, and ensuring policies are followed. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity at our Wisconsin location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise.
• Record keeping (payroll, scheduling, deposits) and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
• Ensure store cleanliness and neat presentation; follow all policies and procedures.
