Position Summary

Leads a store business unit, focusing on creating a consistent and positive customer experience. Assists in supervising all team members and business operations, monitoring and facilitating production, retail processes, pick-up and delivery, shipping, and quality control. Manages the store in the absence of the Store Manager. The Store Assistant Manager performs all functions normally performed by team members.

General Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provides friendly, expert service to customers.
  • Evaluates team productivity and customer experience.
  • Resolves customer disputes to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintains a clean, professional store environment.
  • Manages customer flow to improve service quality.
  • Trains and develops team members.
  • Participates in hiring processes.
  • Coaches and provides feedback to team members.
  • Coordinates with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Oversees shipping services.
  • Communicates performance metrics and company initiatives to the team.
  • Enforces company policies and procedures.
  • Assists with payroll and daily POS close-out.
  • Performs administrative duties like scheduling, inventory management, and ordering supplies.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Essential Functions

  • Stand for entire shift, excluding breaks.
  • Lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Perform bending/twisting activities.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain concentration for extended periods.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain regular attendance and support business hours.
