Goodwill Kentucky is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to support store operations in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

You will lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, handle payroll and scheduling, assist with merchandise ordering, and support loss prevention while upholding Goodwill’s mission.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour and a benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of progressive retail or manufacturing operations experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assists in ordering merchandise and record keeping including payroll, scheduling and cash deposits.
• Supervises, trains, and develops store staff on operating practices.
• Maintains a positive shopping environment with excellent customer service and well-stocked shelves.
• Supports Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Goodwill Kentucky is looking for a high energy, detail oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our team! This position would support store operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment. Job Type: Full-Time

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Essential Duties and Tasks:

• Assumes management responsibilities in absence of Store Manager.
• Assists Store Manager in ordering merchandise and record keeping including payroll, scheduling and cash register deposits and receipts.
• At the direction of the Store Manager, supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates on Goodwill of Kentucky operating practices and procedures.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a well-stocked store.
• Supports Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.

• Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in retail or manufacturing operations.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
