Goodwill Kentucky is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will back the Store Manager, lead staff, and ensure exceptional customer service while promoting Goodwill’s mission.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail operations, a high school diploma or GED, and a customer-focused mindset. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits in Kentucky.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.

• Maintains a positive shopping experience through excellent customer service and a well-stocked store.
• Supports loss prevention efforts and enforces company policies.

Description

Goodwill Kentucky is looking for a high energy, detail oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our team! This position would support store operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment. Pay: $15.00 / hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Sunday: 9:00AM – 9:00 PM

Essential Duties and Tasks:

• Assumes management responsibilities in absence of Store Manager.
• Assists Store Manager in ordering merchandise and record keeping including payroll, scheduling and cash register deposits and receipts.
• At the direction of the Store Manager, supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates on Goodwill of Kentucky operating practices and procedures.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a well-stocked store.
• Supports Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in retail or manufacturing operations.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
