Job summary

Five Below is seeking a part-time loss prevention associate in Fort Myers. You will support shortage reduction, conduct security checks, and assist with daily store operations while upholding Five Below policies.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail loss prevention, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 20 lbs, and work nights/weekends to meet store needs. Competitive hourly pay starts at $14.50.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• 1–2 years of retail loss prevention experience.
• Basic understanding of retail or security.
• Ability to work nights and weekends to match store needs.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Work independently and follow Five Below policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of key department products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shortage reduction and investigations.
• Work with General Manager to ensure policy compliance by staff.
• Maintain employee entrance area where applicable.
• Track packages delivered via employee entrance.
• Conduct in-store security checks and recommend loss-prevention measures.
• Perform safety checks and maintain a visible, courteous presence for customers.
• Provide safety inspections and communicate hazards to store management.
• Greet customers as a Five Below associate.
