Five Below, Inc. is hiring a part-time Asset Protection Associate in Colton, CA. The role focuses on reducing shortages, enforcing store policies, and maintaining security presence.

You will partner with the General Manager to ensure staff compliance and conduct security checks throughout the store. The position requires 1–2 years of loss prevention experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail loss prevention experience.
• Ability to stand/walk 8 hours.
• Lift and carry 20 lbs.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Effective communication with all staff.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to shortage reduction/investigations.
• Work with General Manager to ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain the employee entrance area where applicable.
• Track packages delivered through the employee entrance.
• Conduct store physical security checks and recommend loss-reduction measures.
• Provide a visible, courteous presence at entrances/exits.
• Perform safety inspections and communicate hazards to management.
