Job summary

You will respond to security incidents, monitor activity with video and RFID data, lead audits, and partner with store leadership and local law enforcement to resolve issues and protect profits.

Qualifications

• A valid security license may be required in certain states.
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft by sound judgment and safe apprehensions per policy and AP leadership.
• Identify theft trends using technology, reporting, and surveillance.
• Drive shrinkage reduction with action plans and merchandise protection standards.
• Support internal theft investigations via reports and surveillance tools.
• Investigate internal theft by gathering evidence and coordinating with AP/Law Enforcement.
• Monitor activity with video and RFID data to aid investigations.
• Maintain store safety by responding to incidents and escalating appropriately.
• Lead audits and training to promote shrinkage awareness across the store.
• Serve on the store Emergency Response Team and participate in training.
• Prepare prompt reports for high-profile incidents and recoveries.
