Job summary

Disney Store is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to help maintain a safe and secure environment for Cast Members and Guests. This role focuses on deterrence, surveillance, and rapid response to security concerns across a retail setting.

Responsibilities include 24/7 monitoring, inspections, incident reporting, access screening, and collaboration with Store Leadership and Corporate Asset Protection. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in asset protection or security and are able to lift up to 40

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Asset Protection/Loss Prevention/Security experience in retail or hospitality.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and climb a ladder.
• Must have full availability for Friday, Saturday and Sunday or flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deterrence of risk at store entrances/exits and throughout the store.
• Conduct onsite security inspections and respond to risks; escalate with Store Leadership.
• Support emergency preparedness and crisis response programs.
• Monitor CCTV and perform incident investigations and case management.
• Screen Cast Member and vendor access (bags/coats) and manage site access.
• Act as liaison with law enforcement as needed and coordinate with Asset Protection/Safety teams.
