Job summary

Target is seeking an Assets Protection Specialist to help keep guests and team members safe while ensuring store assets are protected. The role involves surveillance, incident documentation, and collaboration with store leadership and public safety.

You will be part of a dynamic team supporting loss prevention and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate scanners and other technology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Use surveillance and intelligence-led tactics to keep team members and guests safe and secure while aiding in shortage reduction.
Operate Target's video surveillance system to monitor theft risks and document incidents.
Follow AP policies to prevent loss and handle apprehensions in shortage areas.
