Job summary

Disney in New York is seeking a seasoned Asset Protection professional to deter risks, perform security inspections, and support emergency response. You will monitor cameras, handle incidents, and work with leadership to protect Cast and Guests.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with full availability on weekends. Prior retail security and NY licensing are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal justice/public safety background preferred.
• Experience in retail or hospitality asset protection is required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a visible deterrent to potential risk at store entrances/exits and throughout site.
• Conducts onsite security inspections and communicates risks to leadership.
• Supports emergency preparedness and crisis response programs.
• Responds to theft activity and assists with EAS activations.
• Conducts 24/7 camera and alarm monitoring and case management documentation.
• Screens Cast Member and vendor site access via bag inspections.
• Liaises with law enforcement as needed and follows Disney safety guidelines.
