Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking an Asset Protection & Safety Manager to lead safety programs, prevent loss, and protect people and products across the store. You will coach staff, monitor store operations, and implement security controls while ensuring a safe customer experience.

The role emphasizes collaboration with store leaders, incident response preparation, and adherence to safety regulations. Some travel to meetings or trainings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant work experience (retail or Asset Protection).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, Safety, Business, or related Asset Protection field.
• National certified training programs (e.g., Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed) are a plus.
• Professional accreditation (APQ, APC) or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising employees (coaching, mentoring, directing, training, performance management).
• Experience as a retail manager and conducting quality reviews/audits.
• Experience analyzing business documents (P&L, exception reports) and conducting retail investigations.
• Experience using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS).

Responsibilities

• Help Store Operational Leadership ensure friendly, professional, timely service to all customers.
• Monitor receiving, shipping, and selling patterns for the store.
• Champion initiatives and establish controls to improve safety, shrink, and security outcomes.
• Oversee programs to minimize loss while maintaining a safe environment; coach and train associates.
