Job summary

Sephora is seeking an Asset Protection Partner at our Walnut Creek store to safeguard assets and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for clients and employees. You will work with store leaders and the District Asset Protection Manager to implement safety strategies, monitor activity, and handle incidents with professionalism.

The role emphasizes collaboration, on-floor presence, and adherence to policies. Flexibility for peak retail hours and multi-location support is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
• Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
• Conflict de-escalation skills.
• Comfortable with CCTV and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety & awareness; lead meetings and training.
• Maintain strong store presence; spend 75–80% on selling floor.
• Partner with leadership; align shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
• Monitor & investigate using CCTV and reporting tools.
• Incident response with professional de-escalation and safety focus.
• Execute audits and reporting for asset protection.
• Adhere to asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
• Support multiple locations as needed.
• Represent Sephora in court if required.
