As a Designer in the Retail Studio, you will turn concepts into compelling architectural solutions, collaborating with project teams and clients to balance creativity with practicality. The role emphasizes visualization, presentation, and the adoption of AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 3–10 years of professional architectural experience.
• Architectural registration or progress toward licensure is a plus.
• Experience designing commercial retail, mixed-use, or industrial projects is preferred.
• Experience with national retail brands or prototype-based projects is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative architectural concepts for commercial retail and mixed-use projects.
• Create presentation-quality site plans, floor plans, elevations, renderings, diagrams, and graphics.
• Explore multiple design options balancing client goals, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Assist in developing prototype adaptations and site-specific design solutions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Architectural Job Captains, consultants, and clients throughout the design process.
• Produce presentation materials for client meetings, entitlement efforts, and public approvals.
• Support the integration of AI-assisted workflows and emerging design technologies.
• Help establish and maintain design standards across the Retail Studio.
