Job summary

MMA Architects, based in Neptune, New Jersey, is seeking an entry-to-mid-level Architect to develop construction documents and coordinate with consultants on national retail projects.

You will work in our Retail Studio alongside experienced professionals, contributing to floor plans, elevations, sections, and details while advancing licensure and technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 0–5 years of professional architectural experience.
• Working toward architectural licensure encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents using Revit.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.
• Assist with code research and implementation of building code requirements.
• Support permit submissions and responses to agency review comments.
• Participate in field surveys and existing conditions documentation.
• Assist with construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field coordination.
• Help maintain and adapt prototype standards for projects across the country.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and consultants to deliver coordinated construction documents.
• Continue developing your technical knowledge through mentoring and project experience.

Based in our Neptune, New Jersey office, you'll work alongside experienced architects and project managers on projects ranging from ground-up stores and major expansions to remodels, tenant improvements, and prototype rollouts across the United States.

This position focuses primarily on developing construction documents while providing exposure to consultant coordination, permitting, and construction administration. What We're Looking For

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 0–5 years of professional architectural experience.
• Working toward architectural licensure is encouraged.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
