Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual site plans for potential new development projects.
• Develop design concepts for potential renovation projects of existing assets.
• Develop and maintain leasing plans across the portfolio in support of our leasing efforts.
• Create lease outline drawings for tenant spaces.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party design and construction consultants throughout the design, permitting and construction phases.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality of construction, and adherence to design intent.
• Address any design‑related issues during construction and offer effective solutions.
• Maintain and update design standards, architectural guidelines, and material specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong portfolio in retail design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and retail compliance standards.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to travel in‑state as needed for site visits and project meetings.
• Experience working with national retail brands.
• Understanding of retail business processes and architectural styles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
