Job summary

Anderson Merchandisers is seeking an Analytics & Insights Analyst II in Plano, TX to transform complex data into actionable business insights. You’ll build advanced SQL queries, create compelling BI reports, and partner with Operations, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, and HR to drive strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes proactive analytics, presenting actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders, and delivering clear, data-driven insights for business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Analytics, CS, Math, Stats, Eng or similar).
• 2+ years hands-on SQL experience with large-scale data repositories.
• 2+ years building/maintaining BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, Sigma, etc.).
• 2+ years experience turning data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong understanding of business operations, workflows, and performance metrics.
• Independently identify data sources, definitions, and assumptions for analyses.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for reporting and ad-hoc analyses.
• Build and maintain dashboards to communicate trends, drivers, and performance.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders and executives with actionable recommendations.
