Men's Wearhouse is seeking a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations in Dedham, MA to deliver high-quality alterations, measurements, fittings, and garment repairs. You will help customers achieve perfect fits with precision and pride in craftsmanship.

The role emphasizes detail, reliable performance, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. Typical duties include pant hems, waist and sleeve adjustments, garment pressing, tagging, and assisting with stock and customer consultations.

Qualifications

• Keen eye for detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
• Strong sewing and alteration abilities with accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform standard alterations including pant hems, waist and seat adjustments, rise and tapering modifications, coat sleeves, side seams and lower collar adjustments.
• Aim for 60 minutes of productive alteration work per hour while balancing other tasks.
• Ensure garments meet quality standards with clean finishes and secure stitching.
• Press garments for a clean, crisp finish and maintain organized workspace.
• Tag, organize, and prepare completed work for customer pickup; assist inventory management.
• Support front-of-house duties and customer consultations as needed.
