Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Principal in the Retail, Consumer, Telco & Technology (CTT) practice in the United States. You will lead complex client engagements, shaping strategy and delivering high-impact results.

The role requires 7+ years of strategy consulting and a strong technical toolkit (SQL, Python, AI). The base salary ranges from $250k to $265k with potential incentives, and a hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in strategy consulting and/or Retail industry experience.
Strong background in problem solving and analytical skills.
Quantitative toolkit including SQL and Python.
Machine learning, data science, AI/genAI capabilities preferred.
Track record of leading teams and delivering under deadlines.
Outstanding communication skills; able to present to senior executives.
Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top program.
Willingness to travel (at least 50% of the time).

Responsibilities

Providing day to day leadership of client projects and aspects of the client relationship and commercial process with Partners.
Leading and managing complex programs of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery, leveraging OW best practices.
Guiding and influencing clients across all situations including execution of the commercial process.
Engaging in building business by identifying new and expanded opportunities.
Creating intellectual capital through thought leadership and expertise across adjacent topics.
Developing others and building a followership as part of asset building for the firm.
Leading firm building activities and upholding firm values with a strong personal brand.
