Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Retail Operations & AI – Principal to lead high-impact engagements acrossConsumer, Telco & Technology. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, drive AI-enabled transformations, and build trusted advisor relationships with senior client leadership.

The role demands 7+ years in strategy consulting or retail, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. Expect significant travel and a track record of delivering outcomes that matter.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting and/or Retail industry experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Machine learning, data science, AI/genAI capabilities preferred.
• Track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Outstanding communication skills; confidence in presenting to senior executives.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel (at least 50% of the time).

Responsibilities

• Providing day to day leadership of client projects and aspects of the client relationship.
• Leading and managing complex programs of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Guiding and influencing clients across commercial processes, becoming trusted advisors.
