The Role

The Retail Account Manager will serve as the main advocate and contact for our retail partners, working to strengthen relationships and promote Nabis services. This role involves both in-person and remote engagement across New York, requiring travel, project management skills, and meticulous record-keeping to support retail initiatives and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities
  1. Retail Account Management: Serve as primary contact, manage relationships, and coordinate with internal teams.
  2. Optimize Core Services: Ensure efficient delivery and collections, collaborating with Operations, AR, CX, BD, and Engineering teams.
  3. Engage Retail Services: Educate retailers on services like Marketplace, Bill Pay, data analytics, and inventory tools; identify barriers and strategize engagement.
  4. Drive Marketplace Functionality: Maximize opportunities through promotions, sourcing RFPs, and brand partnerships.
  5. Feature Requests & Strategy: Manage retail feature requests, maintain dossiers, and present strategies internally.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead cross-functional meetings with retail stakeholders.
  7. Retailer Engagement: Track retailer engagement metrics and develop SOPs for improvement.
  8. Data Coordination: Maintain centralized retailer profiles and identify improvement opportunities.
  9. Engagement Metrics: Monitor GMV and contact points.
  10. Retail Success Monitoring: Track NPS, adoption rates, marketplace engagement, and market share relative to Nabis’s goals.
  11. Sales Growth: Generate leads and foster growth through retailer interactions.
Qualifications
  • Experience in retail cannabis sales or operations
  • Established relationships with NY cannabis retailers
  • Strong customer experience skills
  • Proven revenue-driving track record
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Data analytics skills (Excel, SQL) a plus
  • Must be at least 21 and located in New York State
