Job summary

The West Virginia Department of Highways (WVDOH) District 4 seeks a Resurfacing Coordinator to manage daily operations, practices, and team within the Resurfacing Section. You will supervise staff, review plans for WVDOH specs, oversee inspections and contractor payments, and ensure accurate record-keeping in SiteManager and ProjectWise.

Preference may be given to candidates with supervisory construction experience and active Engineering Technologist certification through the WV Transportation

Qualifications

• Certification or pre-certification as Engineering Technologist by WV Transportation Engineering Technician Certification Board.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise administrative and inspection staff within the Resurfacing Section.
• Review project plans and proposals for WVDOH specifications.
• Oversee field inspections and contractor payments; maintain accurate records in SiteManager and ProjectWise.
