Job summary

The West Virginia Department of Highways is seeking a qualified Resurfacing Coordinator to lead the Resurfacing Section in District 4. You will supervise administrative and inspection staff, review plans for WVDOH conformity, oversee field inspections and contractor payments, and maintain accurate records in SiteManager and ProjectWise.

Preference may be given to candidates with Engineering Technologist Certification (or pre-certification) from WVTA Board.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Engineering Technologist by WVTO Board.
• Pre-Certification as Engineering Technologist by WVTO Board.
• No prior specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage the Resurfacing Section team.
• Review project plans for adherence to WVDOH specs.
• Supervise inspections and contractor payments; ensure records in SiteManager/ProjectWise.
