Job summary

West Virginia Paving, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Field Technician to test asphalt, soil, concrete and aggregates to ensure they meet specifications. The role requires coordinating with management, following procedures, and working outdoors with possible overtime and travel.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and readiness to learn WVDOH asphalt field certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• WVDOH asphalt field certification preferred but not required (will train qualified applicants).
• Other state certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Testing asphalt, soil, concrete, and aggregates to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Partners and coordinates daily/weekly scheduling with management.
• Maintain safety standards and PPE compliance.
• Prepare and submit proper documentation to Quality Control personnel.
