Qualifikationen

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the Texas Bar or eligibility to become admitted promptly.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Experience managing significant components of complex matters with increasing responsibility.
• Ability to interface with clients, opposing counsel, financial advisors, and other transaction parties.

Aufgaben

• Commercial Chapter 11 proceedings, including pleadings, motions, objections, discovery, and court appearances.
• Debtor, creditor, lender, purchaser, sponsor, or fiduciary representations in restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Out-of-court workouts, restructurings, forbearance arrangements, and loan modifications.
• Distressed acquisitions and dispositions, including Section 363 sales, Article 9 sales, and assignments for the benefit of creditors.
• Debtor-in-possession financings, cash collateral matters, and analysis of loan and perfection documents.
• Commercial loan enforcement litigation, adversary proceedings, receiverships, and other contested insolvency-related disputes.
• Real estate workouts, foreclosures, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and distressed real estate transactions.
• Cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters, including Chapter 15 proceedings.
