Job summary

Truman Medical Centers seeks a Restorative Therapy Technician to implement restorative programs at UH Lakewood Medical Center. You will support residents with mobility, ADLs, and daily activities under therapists' direction to help maintain independence.

Responsibilities include documenting services, communicating changes to therapy and nursing staff, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for residents. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with CNA/CRNA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of medical-related experience in long-term care or hospital as a rehabilitation technician/CNA or similar role.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, responsible with sound judgment and initiative.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative therapy programs under licensed therapists.
• Assist residents with mobility, ADLs, feeding, positioning and ROM.
• Support residents to maintain independence and function.
• Monitor and report changes in resident function to therapy or nursing staff.
• Document resident encounters and services provided accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Promote resident safety, quality care, and positive experience.
