Job summary

Arvin Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to support residents' mobility and independence through restorative nursing programs. This full-time role emphasizes patient-centered care in a skilled nursing facility setting.

You will perform restorative exercises, assist with ADLs, and document changes in resident condition while collaborating with Rehabilitation and Nursing teams for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• California CNA certification required.
• RNA training required.
• CPR certification if required by licensure.
• Must maintain certifications in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises to improve or maintain mobility, strength, and independence.
• Encourage participation in activities and out-of-bed mobility unless medically contraindicated.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, dining, splinting, and range-of-motion activities as directed.
• Obtain and accurately record resident weights and report significant changes.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other ADLs.
