Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Restorative CNA to perform patient-related restorative nursing tasks under the direction of the Restorative Nurse, in compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current CNA license, restorative nursing training, CPR, and preferred 1 year geriatric nursing experience; duties include assisting with bathing, mobility, documenting care, and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a State approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license in good standing.
• Completed restorative nursing training.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients.
• Assist patients with baths, showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Provide physician-ordered exercise to each patient.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team.
• Adhere to policies and maintain confidentiality.
