Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Restorative CNA to perform patient restorative nursing functions in our post-acute care facility. The role supports patient recovery under the Restorative Nurse and adheres to laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Qualified candidates hold a state-approved CNA license, CPR certification, and restorative nursing training; prior geriatric experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State approved CNA program.
• Active CNA license in the state; must stay in good standing.
• Completed restorative nursing training.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current.

Aufgaben

• Lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients.
• Assist patients with baths, showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Provide physician ordered exercise to each patient.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
