Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to perform restorative care under the direction of Therapy and Nursing staff. The role focuses on helping residents maintain or regain function through ROM, mobility, positioning, and daily living activities, following facility policy and standards of practice.

The position requires a CNA license, at least two years of CNA experience, and the ability to work as part of a team, with strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA with two years of clinical CNA experience
• Knowledge of restorative nursing principles and practices
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work as a team member

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents using established methods and techniques
• Deliver restorative care (ROM, gait, bed mobility, positioning) as directed by therapy/nursing
• Attend care plan conferences and contribute to individualized care plans
• Document progress daily and provide weekly narrative updates on goals
• Report unusual problems (pain, refusals, falls) to nursing staff immediately
• Assist with restorative dining programs and participate in quality improvement efforts
