Job summary
Covenant Retirement Communities & Covenant Care is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide restorative care to residents, following therapy plans and facility policies. You will work under supervision of the Restorative Nurse and nursing staff, performing ROM, transfers, ADL assistance and restorative dining support.
The role requires a two-year CNA background, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong English communication.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid CNA license and have a minimum of two years of CNA experience.
- Ability to perform restorative nursing duties and follow therapy plans.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents up to 150 pounds.
- Must be able to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Responsibilities
- Provide restorative care using ROM, bed mobility, transfers and positioning.
- Assist with dining, feeding, bathing, grooming and activities of daily living.
- Monitor and report resident progress to nursing and therapy staff.
- Utilize assistive devices and adaptive equipment per policy.
