Job summary

Life Care Centers of America’s Alderwood Life Care Team in Spokane, WA seeks a Restorative CNA for 8a-7p with 10-hour shifts on a 2 on/2 off rotation. The Restorative CNA performs patient-related restorative nursing under direction of the Restorative Nurse, following all laws and Life Care standards.

Candidates must have an active WA NAC license and restorative experience, completing restorative nursing training, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a state CNA program graduate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State approved CNA program
• Active WA NAC license with restorative experience
• Completed restorative nursing training
• 1 year geriatric nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation

Responsibilities

• Lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients
• Assist with baths, showers, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Accurately document and chart patient care
• Respond to call lights promptly
• Provide physician-ordered exercise to patients
• Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and patients
• Ensure patient safety and sanitation
