Job summary

Tacoma Nursing & Rehabilitation in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support restorative care. You will assist with therapeutic exercises, help residents with daily activities, and document progress under supervision of the DNS or Nurse Manager.

You will work closely with restorative staff to plan, modify, and coordinate treatment programs. The role requires a valid WA CNA license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of restorative aide training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Washington State.
• Preference for Restorative Aides training.
• Must complete 12 hours of continuing education per year as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with active and passive therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Instruct, motivate and assist residents in functional activities and document progress.
• Observe and report residents' responses to treatments.
• Coordinate with restorative staff to plan and modify treatment programs.
• Record resident information on the restorative flow sheet.
• Assist with resident meal service and respond to signals for care.
• Transport residents to and from restorative programs.
• Meet monthly with Nurse Manager to review progress.
