Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Transportation Aide to support restorative nursing services and to safely transport residents to appointments and activities. You will work with nursing and rehabilitation staff to maximize resident functioning and well‑being.

The role requires reliable driving, documentation, and good communication with families and care teams. Qualifications include active CNA certification in Illinois, a valid driver’s license, and ability to operate GPS and radio communications.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered CNA with the State of Illinois.
• Active Illinois Driver’s License required.
• Strong communication and written documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide restorative nursing care under Nursing and Rehabilitation teams.
• Transport patients to and from hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, and residences safely.
• Monitor patient progress, document services, and assist with care planning discussions.
• Assist residents with mobility devices and daily activities as needed.
• Maintain vehicle safety, perform pre/post trips, and report issues to supervisor.
