What you will do in this role:
Provides restorative nursing interventions under the supervision of a licensed nurse to support patients discharged from formal rehabilitation therapy, those not eligible for formal therapy, or those requiring supplemental interventions during custodial care. The goal is to promote independent, safe functioning and enhance physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Restorative nursing services (excluding Continuous Passive Motion) do not require a physician’s order. Additional responsibilities in this role include:
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Six months experience as a Rehab Tech or Restorative Nursing Aide in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills and Abilities: Competence with basic computer and technology systems.
