Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Restorative Aide for Kindred Hospital North Florida on a PRN basis. You will assist with restorative programs, support therapists, and help maintain resident safety and comfort in a hospital rehab environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate care for older adults, accurate documentation, and teamwork with therapists. Benefits, training, and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CNA licensure is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out restorative programs designed by PT/OT/SLP.
• Document observations and report to ensure continuity of care.
• Sanitization of whirlpools, tubs and showers used in therapy, assist with ambulation and transfers as needed.
• Lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Provide clear verbal and written communication in English.
• Deliver superior customer service and resident care.
• Demonstrate interest and experience working with older adults.
• Other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

• Responsible for carrying out individual restorative programs designed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist
• Communicates observations of residents' condition, preventing residents' neglect, abuse and violations of rights and privacy, and promoting continuity of care through accurate and timely documentation and reporting
• Sanitization of whirlpool, tubs and showers when used in restorative therapy, and assisting residents with ambulation and transfer as needed
• Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
• Superior customer service and resident care skills
• Successful candidates will demonstrate interest, enthusiasm, and experience working with older adults
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• A High School diploma or GED
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure required
• 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.
• CPR certification required
• Willing to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation
