Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is looking for a Restorative Aide to help improve community health by supporting rehabilitation programs. As part of Lifepoint Rehabilitation, you will work closely with residents and therapists to ensure high-quality care delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient well-being, a valid CNA license, and experience with rehabilitation therapy. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure needed.
• 6-12 months relevant experience in a rehab setting strongly recommended.
• CPR certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out restorative programs designed by therapists.
• Communicate observations of residents' conditions.
• Sanitize equipment and assist residents with mobility.
• Lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.

How you'll contribute

Restorative Aide who excels in this role:

• Responsible for carrying out individual restorative programs designed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist
• Communicates observations of residents' condition, preventing residents' neglect, abuse and violations of rights and privacy, and promoting continuity of care through accurate and timely documentation and reporting
• Sanitization of whirlpool, tubs and showers when used in restorative therapy, and assisting residents with ambulation and transfer as needed
• Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
• Superior customer service and resident care skills
• Successful candidates will demonstrate interest, enthusiasm, and experience working with older adults
• Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for
