Lifepoint Health in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Restorative Aide to support therapy services in a hospital setting. You will prepare and clean treatment areas, position patients, transport patients and supplies, and assist therapists during treatments.

Qualifications include a High School diploma and CPR/BCLS certification; six months of experience in acute or long-term care is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for patient safety and care.

Restorative Aide- FT

The Restorative Aide is responsible for preparing treatment areas, cleaning treatment areas, positioning patients, procurement and inventory of supplies, transporting, and assisting patients and therapist.

Essential Functions

Job Specific:

• Ability to Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other common areas of the hospital.
• Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
• Procures and keeps an accurate inventory of all therapy supplies.
• Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintains confidentiality of all patients and/or employee information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected.
• Maintains current licensure/certification for position, if applicable.
• Consistently follows departmental and hospital Health, Safety, Security, Hazardous Materials policies and procedures.
• HIPAA: Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with HIPAA privacy laws, follow hospital policy in provision of patient confidentiality. Able to identify patient confidentiality issues and reports to proper hospital personnel immediately.

• Good general health and stress coping ability. Full mobility and ability to participate in vigorous activity. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with all constituents (patients, families, peers, and other healthcare team members) as needed. Possess near vision acuity for accurate reading of equipment and recording on patient charts. Must be physically able to lift, support and move patients.
