Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Restorative Aide to support patients in reaching maximum functional potential at Kindred Hospital Melbourne. You will report patient responses to supervisors and participate in quality management activities.

The role emphasizes continuing education, professional behavior, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver cost-effective care and maintain clinical competency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of relevant rehab experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Competence with basic computer and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing interventions to support patients in reaching maximum functional potential.
• Report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising nurse or therapist.
• Participate in quality management and safety committee activities.
• Assist in collecting quality review data and survey preparation.
• Support cost-effective care delivery and interdisciplinary group activities.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Demonstrate professional behavior in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Adhere to standards of professional organizations and internal policies.
• Contribute to client relations and marketing efforts.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in team meetings.
• Support administrative and clinical efficiency initiatives.

What we're looking for
