Job summary

Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide (CNA) to support residents through restorative nursing programs. You will work under Rehabilitation and Nursing, coordinating and implementing care to maximize residents' physical functioning and emotional well-being.

The role requires a CNA with restorative nursing knowledge, excellent interaction with residents and agencies, and a Saturday optional shift.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with experience and knowledge of restorative nursing philosophy/procedures.
• Ability to positively interact with residents, government agencies, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, direct, and participate in restorative programs for individual residents.
• Facilitate transition of residents from skilled rehab to restorative progressive and preventative programs.
• Maintain restorative nursing progress/documentation records for all participating residents.
• Visit each resident daily and as needed to ensure the program's productivity.

Shift:

8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Overview of the Restorative Aide Role:

As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in coordinating, implementing, and providing restorative nursing care for all residents. Working under the direction of the rehabilitation and nursing departments, you'll be responsible for maximizing and maintaining the physical functioning and emotional wellness of our residents. Your additional responsibilities include:
