Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Broken Arrow is seeking a full‑time Restorative Aide to support rehab services. You will assist the PT/OT/SLP teams with restorative programs and help residents with mobility while documenting observations accurately.

Qualified candidates will hold a CNA license, have strong communication skills in English, and be willing to participate in on‑the‑job training after orientation. This role emphasizes compassionate care for older adults in a hospital‑based setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current CNA licensure required.
  • 6–12 months experience in rehab setting recommended.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Willing to participate in on-the-job training after orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out restorative programs designed by PT/OT/SLP.
  • Document observations and report to ensure continuity of care.
  • Sanitize whirlpool, tubs and showers; assist with ambulation and transfers.
  • Lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Provide superior resident care and customer service.
  • Engage with older adults with enthusiasm and compassion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Responsible for carrying out individual restorative programs designed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist
  • Communicates observations of residents’ condition, preventing residents’ neglect, abuse and violations of rights and privacy, and promoting continuity of care through accurate and timely documentation and reporting
  • Sanitization of whirlpool, tubs and showers when used in restorative therapy, and assisting residents with ambulation and transfer as needed
  • Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
  • Superior customer service and resident care skills
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate interest, enthusiasm, and experience working with older adults
  • Other duties as assigned
Work Environment:

Hospital-based; may involve exposure to biohazards and require PPE

Travel:

Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%)

What We’re Looking For
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure required
  • 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.
