Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Full-Time Restorative Aide at the Broken Arrow location. The role supports PT/OT/SLP designed programs, documents resident observations, and assists with transfers, while promoting dignity and safety for residents.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA license, CPR certification, and have 6–12 months in a rehab setting, with strong English communication and customer service skills; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current CNA licensure required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • 6–12 months experience in rehab setting recommended.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out restorative programs designed by PT/OT/SLP.
  • Document observations to ensure continuity of care and rights protection.
  • Sanitize whirlpool, tubs and showers used in therapy; assist with ambulation and transfers.
  • Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  • Provide exceptional resident care and customer service.
  • Demonstrate interest in and experience working with older adults.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

ARestorative Aide who excels in this role:

  • Responsible for carrying out individual restorative programs designed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist
  • Communicates observations of residents' condition, preventing residents' neglect, abuse and violations of rights and privacy, and promoting continuity of care through accurate and timely documentation and reporting
  • Sanitization of whirlpool, tubs and showers when used in restorative therapy, and assisting residents with ambulation and transfer as needed
  • Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
  • Superior customer service and resident care skills
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate interest, enthusiasm, and experience working with older adults
  • Other duties as assigned
Work Environment

Hospital-based; may involve exposure to biohazards and require PPE

Travel

Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%)

What we're looking for
  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure required
  • 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.
  • CPR certification required
  • Willing to participate in on-the-job training after initial orientation
