Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist for Restorative and Aesthetic Dental Associates in Portland, ME. We offer a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), no nights or weekends, and a broad scope across restorative and aesthetic dentistry with in-office specialty services.

You will diagnose, educate patients, create treatment plans, review records, interpret X-rays, perform restorative and surgical procedures, and uphold high ethics. Competitive earnings based on production with strong upside.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
