Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME, is seeking a Dentist to join the Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates team. The role offers a flexible schedule, full-time or part-time, with no nights or weekends and a focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialty services. Qualified candidates hold a DMD or DDS, state licensure, Hep B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain and update patient records and dental charts.
• Provide surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.
