Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a licensed Dentist (DMD or DDS) to join Restorative and Aesthetic Dental Associates. The role encompasses comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry with a patient-centered approach in a modern, collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatments.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans and review options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.

Education
