Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME, seeks a Dentist for Restorative and Aesthetic Dental Associates. Flexible schedule: full-time or part-time. No nights or weekends.

Emphasis on restorative and aesthetic dentistry with a wide range of procedures; modern, patient-centered practice with a supportive team and strong earning potential through production-based compensation. Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high ethical and professional standards.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.
